Job Collector Gmail Read Only
Current status: Gmail read-only authorization, a minimal recruiting-mail read check and refresh-token verification have completed. Recruiting-mail tracking and the Pending Updates queue remain disabled until the updated data-handling disclosure is published and the owner enables scanning. No email sends or mailbox modifications are supported. Production publishing does not mean Google has verified the application or guarantees permanent access.
Job Collector Gmail Read Only is a private tool for managing one person's own job search. It is intended for personal use by its owner and is not offered to the public or to other users.
What the application is for
The application is designed to help the owner keep a tracker of job applications up to date by reading job-related email in the owner's own Gmail account.
Google access
- The application requests only one Gmail OAuth scope:
gmail.readonly. - It does not send, delete, move or modify email, and has no feature that does so.
Recruiting-mail tracking (disabled until enabled by the owner)
- Local rules identify Interview, Rejected, Under Review or Offer in job-related email, for positions already in the owner's tracker. No external AI model is used.
- Proposed status changes appear in a Pending Updates queue. The tracker changes only after the owner explicitly confirms.
- This tracking and the queue are not running now. They stay off until the data-handling disclosure in the Privacy Policy is published and the owner enables scanning.
